Love Bug Valentine box idea

If you have some spare parts, you can create this adorable love bug for your child's valentines at school or at home.

 Coffee can
Streamers (we used pink and black) or colored paper
Fun foam or card stock for antennas and eyes
Markers and tape for attaching and making eyes

Wrap can in pink streamers or paper. Add heart shapes spots with glue or tape.
Cut a hole for the mouth
Affix eyes and   antennas

The kids can put the valentines in the mouth and it will hold quite a few.

Let your child do most of the work, after all a love bug is best shared. :)

Melted record bowls

This is a project that the kids loved! Super quick, super easy and a cool thing for them to show their friends. Here is what you do:

1: Get a record you no longer wish to listen to
2: Set oven to 200 degrees
3: Find an oven safe bowl in a nice shape that the record fits over
4: Melt record over bowl in oven for 2-5 minutes (watch it)
5: Let cool and remove (cools in about 2 minutes)

Then you can use it to hold just about anything! We are using ours for fruit and another for our nail polishes!

My Grandma needed "something to carry the phone in, that would sit on her waste". So I made an elastic belt with a neat pocket for her to carry things in. She is 90 and needed to be able to see the pocket easily. I think it turned out ok.
Fairly large pocket, also can be attached to her wheelchair for when she doesn't want to wear it. <3 My Grandma.
