A ridiculous amount of cupcakes made for a friend's baby shower. I do love to bake.. and document things I bake before they disappear! They were just scrumptious.

I love this old catalog my Grandma gave me, there are diamond rings in this for $1.25! Along with some zany medical treatments. The top page is colognes and perfumes with hair elixirs. Pretty neat!

Awesome old newspaper clippings from 1897

I found these pages behind my family archive that fell off of my wall one day. Pretty neat stuff in there.

This is a seek and find game made of a few pieces of fabric and a left over piece of  vinyl from a toy package. We added tons of beans and some trinkets. Thanks to Whitneysews.com for the cool tutorial!
We made masks with scraps we had laying around!
This made the girls very happy, Bella is a bear. lol

Pillowcase dress

This is my first attempt a pillowcase dress, I added some ruffles on the front. Sadly, my 2 year old's tummy was just too big for how skinny I made this one. Try, try again they say.

Idea for all those packing peanuts

My 9 year old and I made these last year when we got several boxes with these in them. They last forever and mare super easy with a child's needle if you have younger ones. MUCH easier to work with than popcorn! They look like snow on your tree when you have quite a few on there.

I took a stab at needle felting! This is one that is the right season. lol I have no rhyme or reason with my posts so far. I just have tons I want to share, then I will work to becoming a daily writer.
Needle felting is one of my favorite crafts, for a demo here is a link on how it is done:

Pretty fun!
Liquid Latex, fake blood, and pumpkins! Oh my! This is what my 9 year old looked like for Halloween this year. We had a great time with her zombie, flesheating-ness. Easy liquid latex and fake blood effect that was my first try. The rest is just dollar store make-up.

Ewoking

Ewok costume for my 2 year old. We had 2 reasons for this, Halloween and the local comic/sci-fi convention. My husband is a huge nerd for all things Star Wars and wanted this soooo bad.
From Halloween, I have a few cool ideas for Halloween that I have to post late due to my new blog being so new. This is just a simple stencil transfer then a coating of glue and black glitter. Fun huh?
Fleece pillow I made for the littlest monster in my house.

This is my child staying up way to late to do silly things with her mommy.
